Office & Finance Support Administrator (Part Time)

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, supporting teams and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Role Details

  • Location: Blackburn, BB1 2EQ
  • Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Working Pattern: Ideally 10:00am – 2:00pm, with flexibility for the right candidate
  • Salary: £16,000 – £18,000 DOE
  • Contract: Permanent, Part Time
  • Workplace: Fully office-based

The role

Following the centralisation of some finance activities to our Head Office team in the Netherlands, we are creating a focused UK-based role supporting office administration, finance coordination, supplier administration, Health & Safety administration, travel bookings and internal reporting.

You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and wider UK team, becoming an important part of the daily operation of the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting day-to-day office administration and coordination
  • Managing supplier administration, invoices and purchase orders
  • Liaising with Head Office on finance administration matters
  • Preparing customer onboarding forms and credit checks
  • Supporting communication regarding overdue accounts and account queries
  • Coordinating Health & Safety administration and records
  • Managing administration for the company vehicle fleet
  • Booking travel and accommodation for colleagues and exhibitions
  • Checking colleague expenses and supporting internal reporting

About you

  • Strong administration or accounts administration experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Professional and discreet with confidential information
  • Positive, flexible and team-focused approach

Experience with D365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX would be beneficial, but is not essential.
